Jepuan Peruna invests in the biggest project in its history

The new factory extension in Jepua will secure the company’s growth and capacity.

Jepuan Peruna Oy is investing in the future with a major factory extension of around 4 500 m². After the expansion, the total area of all Jepo Potatis buildings is over 10,000 m². The project, to be completed in autumn 2025, will support the company’s long-term development plan and strengthen the company’s position as the leading potato processor in Finland.

– The expansion is the biggest investment in our almost 50-year history. In the long term, this will ensure that we have sufficient capacity and enable us to diversify our products. The investment will enable us to better meet our customers’ needs now and in the future,” says CEO Markus Jussila.

New technologies and sustainable development solutions

The expansion will include a new state-of-the-art production line using modern peeling technology and advanced energy solutions.

– The new heat pump technology will significantly improve the energy efficiency of production, which in turn will reduce the company’s energy consumption and climate impact,” says Jussila.
