Jeppo Potatis is a company owned by potato farmers from Ostrobothnia, producing high-quality domestic potato products for professional kitchens under the JEPO brand. We offer restaurants and large-scale kitchens Finnish, pre-cooked potatoes that make quality cooking easy and efficient. Our factory is located in the village of Jeppo in Nykarleby, Ostrobothnia. Our products are available through HoReCa wholesalers throughout Finland.
The potatoes we use are responsibly grown in Ostrobothnia, where potato farming has long traditions. Some of our contract farmers are in their fourth generation of potato cultivation. Our company was founded in 1976, when a group of Jeppo-based potato farmers began storing and selling potatoes together. Over the decades, Jeppo Potatis has become a market leader, employing around 40 people and producing over 12 million kilograms of potato products annually.
Jeppo Potatis specializes in the production of pre-cooked potato products. Our pre-cooked potatoes are completely additive-free and are prepared using steam produced with biogas. The ready-to-use products are gently cooked using the unique Sous Vide method, which preserves the vitamins and minerals of the root vegetables, ensuring a quick cooking time, delicious taste, and freshness. Our selection includes potatoes for various cooking needs – from whole potatoes to different sizes of potato pieces, with or without skins.
In 2023, we also launched pre-cooked, seasoned potato products. These ready-cooked and seasoned products save time and energy for professional kitchens, reduce waste, and optimize the use of raw materials. Our potato products are a reliable choice for energy-efficient and sustainable cooking.
